The local nursing school, hospital, and town hall collaborated to host a one-day event dedicated to raising awareness and fostering public engagement on aging in today's society. The event aimed to educate attendees on the principles of healthy aging, the significance of aging well, and the collective responsibility we all share in ensuring the well-being of older individuals. Recognizing the importance of visual communication, I was commissioned to design a series of posters in various sizes (A0, A1, A3, and A4) that would be strategically displayed throughout the town and public buildings. The posters were designed to captivate attention, convey key messages, and encourage active participation in the event.
In addition to creating the posters, I was also entrusted with the responsibility of capturing the spirit and essence of the event through photography. The goal was to document the various activities, presentations, and interactions that took place during the event. By documenting these aspects, the photographs would serve as a visual record, not only for future reference but also to promote the event's success and impact.
This project played a pivotal role in facilitating community engagement and bringing attention to the subject of aging. The combined efforts of the local nursing school, hospital, and town hall, along with the strategic placement of the posters and the visual documentation of the event, worked synergistically to promote understanding, empathy, and active involvement in creating a positive aging experience for all.
